Luiz André Gama is a Brazilian new media artist based in Italy working with generative art, video installations, and live video performances. He employs visual programming environments such as TouchDesigner and Vuo to craft his pieces steeped in experimentation and a broad understanding of the unexplored possibilities in the universe of digital art.


Born in 1978 in Juiz de Fora, Minas Gerais, Brazil, he worked for years as a creative director in advertising agencies and design studios before becoming a full-time multimedia artist. In 2007 he was resident VJ of the Privilege Ibiza, in Spain, the world's biggest club, and has actively participated in significant events around the world, playing with DJs like David Guetta, Paul Van Dyk, Sven Väth, Ferry Corsten, Ricardo Villalobos, Mauro Picotto, Miss Kittin, etc.


His latest series, Reflections (2022), Light Traps (2022), Centauromachy (2023), and The Infidelity Of Color (2024) showcase his evolving artistic style and creative spirit.
